This was a mid-market industrial logistics and manufacturing company operating across the US and EU. They also had a SaaS layer that helped customers monitor product usage.
Business Challenge
Before getting to building a marketing strategy for this customer, we spent time with the CXOs to understand the challenges that they were facing while trying to scale their marketing activities.
The website was invisible to the right buyers
Organic traffic remained at ~900 visits/month, while direct traffic was ~500. The site received occasional inquiries from enterprise procurement teams.
Outbound and relationship dependence capped sales
Without paid marketing or a predictable inbound pipeline, every new deal relied on manual outbound and personal networks. This model was time-consuming, unscalable, and unreliable.
Lack of AI/LLM buyer discovery channels
Enterprise buyers had shifted beyond Google; they were also validating vendors inside ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and other AI surfaces.

Rebuilt Their Search Strategy Around Buyer Intent
Instead of chasing generic industrial keywords, we mapped content around:

- Industry + solution combinations
- Operational pain-point queries
- Enterprise procurement-driven searches
We created and restructured solution pages so they spoke directly to enterprise buyers. Then we supported them with high-intent content designed to rank and convert — not just attract traffic.
We also cleaned up technical SEO, improved internal linking, and consolidated authority into revenue-driving pages rather than spreading it thin.
Focussed on AI Discovery, Not Just Google Rankings
Enterprise buyers don’t just Google anymore. They validate vendors inside AI tools.
So we structured content deliberately for AI visibility. That meant:
- Clear, structured answers
- Strong topical authority across clusters
- Context-rich content that AI systems could cite confidently
As a result, the brand began appearing in AI citations across platforms like Google AI Overview , ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini , and Microsoft Copilot.
This directly contributed to 1,315 monthly visits from LLM and AI surfaces. That traffic did not exist before.
Paid Campaigns with Qualified Enquiries as the Main Goal
There were no paid campaigns when we started.
We launched search and targeted paid initiatives in the US and EU with one focus: generate booked meetings.
We did not send paid traffic to generic pages. We built intent-aligned landing experiences. Every campaign was tightly tracked with UTMs so we could see:
Campaign → Session → Form fill or Call → Booked meeting
That tracking discipline is how we were able to tie revenue back to marketing with confidence.
